Reports To: Meeting & Event Manager
Salary Range: $53,732 to $80,599 annually, plus bonus opportunity
As a Meeting & Event Planner, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of corporate meeting activities from start to finish including site selection, vendor selection, contract negotiation, registration site builds, menu planning, project management, housing management, entertainment, travel, registration and budgeting.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead planning process with key stakeholders by assessing meeting objectives and logistical requirements. Manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines to produce desired outcomes
- Perform due diligence in vendor selection and contract negotiations
- Develop and maintain internal processes to ensure consistent improvements in performance
- Perform intermediate budgetary duties including expense management and budget creation
- Work collaboratively with meeting team to ensure delivery of high-quality events
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

ROLE SPECIFICS
- Travel - Moderate overnight travel required for event execution and site visits (approx. 15-20 nights per year). Ability to independently travel as without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane or train.
- Schedule – Ability to work flexible and occasional long hours as needed and onsite during events.
