Reports To: Equipment Maintenance Manager
Pay Range: $16.80 - $25.20 per hour, plus bonus opportunity
As an Equipment Maintenance Parts Coordinator, you will be responsible for locating, distributing, ordering, and stocking parts, as well as managing warranties for the Equipment Maintenance Department at the Mt. Sterling, IL facility.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee parts inventory to minimize equipment downtime, using CMMS to manage orders, receipts, and stocking. Perform quarterly and annual audits, reconciling inventory with CMMS and vendor records.
- Data entry of invoices, code purchase orders to appropriate account and track spending vs. budget.
- Interact/negotiate with parts vendors to obtain best pricing, quality and availability of materials.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of parts, including forklift operation for loading and unloading.
- Manage the warranties of parts and equipment, submit parts for warranty reimbursement.
- Monitor and produce reports on inventory loss to ensure accurate documentation and reduce waste.
- Provide miscellaneous help with oil filtration, samples, and tire press.
YOU MUST HAVE
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Good physical condition, sufficient vision and hearing to perform duties safely.
- General knowledge of parts applications.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintenance background with understanding of parts and service manuals
- Experience with parts inventory/maintenance software and programs
ROLE SPECIFICS
- Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week) with flexibility on days and times worked.
- Travel: Parts runs to drop off and pick up parts for repair or purchase. Must have valid driver’s license and the ability to travel independently by car without restriction.
