Reports To: Process Safety Manager
Salary Range: $56,466 to $84,700 annually, plus bonus opportunity
As a Contractor Safety Coordinator, you will gather and evaluate all safety related documents and verify insurance meets Dot Foods requirements for all our contractors across all locations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Setup and manage Dot Foods, Inc. internal Contractor Safety Program at all locations.
- Monitor and analyze Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), Days Away/Restricted Transfer Rate (DART), Certificates of Insurance (COI), OSHA 300 Logs, and Experience Modifier Rates (EMR).
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA safety programs.
- Develop and maintain safety documentation and records.
- Ensure onsite contractor evaluations are being completed as required.
- Provide training and support to contractors on safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of safety.
- Applies Lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
YOU MUST HAVE
- Occupational Safety degree or equivalent industry experience.
- In-depth knowledge of TRIR, DART, COI, OSHA 300 Logs, and EMR.
- Familiarity with OSHA and EPA safety guidelines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.

ROLE SPECIFICS
- Travel – Occasional travel for internal training and meetings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
