Job Description

 

This position directs, coordinates, and leads the Packaging and Shipping departments (FedEx & Hint Online Single Case Fulfillment) to ensure parcel shipments are delivered accurately and efficiently via FedEx and UPS.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Monitors and documents assigned personnel and work activity and communicates with the supervisor on employee performance.
  • Responsible for performing all duties in the pick, pack, & ship process
  • Releases online single case fulfillment, drop ship, and sample case orders through the JDA system to be picked based upon shipping schedule and production needs.
  • Trains assigned personnel in packing, labeling, and shipping.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate supplies to keep the repack operation running smoothly.
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma, General Equivalency Degree, or relevant work experience
  • Meet minimum requirements on pre-employment testing including a physical ability exam
  • Ability to accept changing work demands

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

  • Prior shipping experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Ability to use FedEx & UPS computer systems, Microsoft Office programs, AS400 and RP systems

ROLE SPECIFICS

  • Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6:30AM-7:00PM
  • Continually lifts 40 pound cases throughout shift and will occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
    Indoor work with heat, humidity, and temperatures below zero
