Before Applying
How do I apply?
To apply, visit Careers.DotFoods.com and click "Explore Jobs" in the upper right-hand corner. From there, you can pick and sort between our current job openings.
Do you only hire experienced drivers?
No. We hire drivers from all backgrounds with varying levels of experience (including none at all). And for those who are inexperienced, Dot will cover the costs of your CDL training at one of our many in-house training facilities or partner institutions.
Do I need a high school diploma or GED to work for Dot?
While many positions do require a high school diploma, GED, or other educational requirements, many entry level positions do not.
Do I need any special licenses or certifications?
While specific job requirements vary greatly, most positions do not require applicants to obtain any kind of special licenses or certifications before applying, apart from perhaps a regular driver’s license. Warehouse workers will obtain the proper certification during their on-the-job training. (For information on driver requirements or CDL training opportunities, visit DriveForDTI.com.)
If I didn’t get the job I applied for, can I re-apply later?
Yes, you are more than welcome (and encouraged) to re-apply after 90 days. It can sometimes take multiple application cycles before you are hired.
What does Dot stand for?

The "Dot" in Dot Foods isn't an acronym and doesn't actually stand for anything. Rather, we were named in honor of our co-founder, Dorothy ("Dot") Tracy.

Is Dot Foods affiliated with Dot Transportation?

Dot Transportation is the exclusive transportation affiliate of Dot Foods. For more information on DTI, visit DriveForDTI.com.

Do you hire people under 18 years old?

Most positions do have a minimum age requirement of 18, but some locations do offer part-time roles for applicants under 18 years of age.
